INTRODUCTION

Covid-19 is a virus spread all over the world. The virus, which has originated in central china’s Hubei province has claimed more than 20,000 lives so far. The novel SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus that occurred in the city of Wuhan, China, last year and has since affected a large scale COVID-19 full and range to more than 70 other countries is the product of natural development.

On December 31 of previous year, Chinese institutions warned the World Health Organization of an burst of a novel strain of coronavirus causing severe disease, which was subsequently termed SARS-CoV-2. As of February 20, 2020, nearly 167,500 COVID-19 cases have been recognized, although many more minor cases have likely away undiagnosed. The disease has killed over 6,600 people.

There are total 19,20,918 . From all cases of corona virus 4,53,289 are recovered from this virus. and 1,19,686 people died all over the world from corona virus.

There are total 10,455 cases in India. From all cases of corona virus 1,062 are recovered from corona virus. And 350 are dies due to corona virus in India.

What is a lockdown?

A lockdown is an emergency procedure that prevents people from leaving a given range. A complete lockdown will mean you must stay where you are and not leaving or enter a house or the given range.

This picture usually allows for necessary supplies, grocery stores, chemist's and banks to continue to serve the public. All non-essential activities remain closed for the entire period.

India, at the moment, is not below complete lockdown. However, severe travel limitations have been imposed on some states, and public places have been closed. Rail, intercity bus services have been suspended over the country.

PURPOSE OF LOCKDOWN

• Purpose of lockdown is for fight with corona virus.
• Main purpose of lockdown to maintain social distancing.

What are necessary activities?

Necessary activities include picking up foodstuffs and medicinal supplies, going to doctor and going on a walk providing you are following social distancing. If you work for an necessary service, you will not necessity to adhere to these restrictions.

What happens if you breakdown the rules?

Anyone breaking the guidelines, could be punished with simple custody for a term that may spread up to one month or with a fine which may spread to Rs 200, or with both.

Can you go to work?

Most main cities in the country have ordered private companies to let workers work from home. All offices will remain closed or work with least staff till the end of the lockdown period. The central and several state governments have declared relief packages for daily-wage payees and other temporary employees.

What if you have an emergency?

Emergency services, like hospitals and chemist's, will continue to work as usual.

CONCLUSION

As PM Modi declared lockdown in whole country. We all should follow the lockdown and should remain in home. Social distancing is much important to fight against corona virus. You can protect yourself and help prevent spreading the virus to others if you do wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds , cover your nose and mouth with a disposable material or mask when you cough or sneeze.
