GREEN CONCRETE

Green Concrete is defined as the one of the most enhanced type of concrete which is generally manufactured by concrete waste material. 

There is no relation with Green color here in the word Green Concrete. This type of concrete is generally obtained by lesser energy in its manufacturing and it produces very less amount of Carbon dioxide. This type of concrete primarily indicates environmental sustainability ; sustainable like socially, economically feasible and its Eco friendliness in construction manner. 


As the burden of ever growing industrial ash waste is increasing exponentially, so it becomes necessary to use these waste for making concrete in appropriate manner.A  number of waste material used  as fly ash product from coal power plants,glass aggregate,recycled demolished waste aggregate,manufactured sand and red mud.


A number of alternative environmental conditions with which for green building concrete structures must comply the following factors:-
  • No environmental pollution and sustainable development.
  • It possess better work ability than traditional concrete.
  • Fire resistance is quite good than environmental concrete.
  • Use of this concrete after construction requires less maintenance and repairment.



The concept of green concrete considers all important phases of a concrete i.e structural design aspect,its ingredient specifications,concreting operations and maintenance aspect and it includes all aspects of its performance in environment.


     Atlast , the definite use of concrete product as green concrete for construction purpose in future will not only decrease the harmful effects of CO2 in nature but it can be economical material to produce and became a revolutionary product from industrial waste in the history of building construction material industry.
